Brides who hired a string quartet: What was your recessional song?
We can't decide! We have no idea what song to use, our only no-no is that ultra traditional one. We're already using Air on the G String and Canon in D for the processional.
Ideas?

We used a Vivaldi concerto and just had them slow it down so we could walk to it.

What about Bittersweet Symphony? It has a beautiful tempo? Or probably more appropriate (because I don't know about walking up the aisle to a song with bittersweet in the title lol) the string version of U2's Beautiful Day.
We're probably going to go with that. You can go on youtube and type in Vitamin String Quartet. There's lots of songs on there.

We are using La Rejoussance..... it's an upbeat, different tune .. you can find it on youtube

Yeah, we thought about Bittersweet Symphony! We both like that song a lot. But it's just a few notes over and over so we were worried it might get repetitive as the bridal party walks out?
I can't find the string version of U2's Beautiful Day on Youtube as a string piece
