Brides who took dance lessons

This may seem like a really silly question but.....do you tip your dance instructor? We are doing 6 classes, 6 private lessons, and 6 group lessons. Do we tip at the end?

dude, some of you girls are the tipping masters...i hardly ever tip...I think tipping should be for outstanding service, which I hardly ever get.

I tip delivery people, waiters, bartenders, the gas attendant when he pumps my gas and that is about it

I never thought of even having to tip the dance teacher

but thinking back on the last time I took dance lessons when I was 12- I don't my mom tipped then

As someone who has taken ballroom dance and regular dance classes, I have only given something like a bottle of wine or baked goods at Christmas time. I don't think you have to tip them after six private lessons.

we tried to but he would hear nothing of it. We really liked him a lot.

I wouldn't tip them! They get paid to teach you! And I'm sure it's more than a waitress makes! If anything, I'd send them a thank you after the wedding!
