Brides who wear glasses...

are you planning to wear them or what are you doing?

I am blind without my glasses, In March, I went for contacts and now Im mad that I didnt go years ago. I love them.

I got contacts about a month before the wedding.

I wear contacts 98% of the time I am awake. I actually have been looking into having Laser surgery done.

If contacts are an option for you (not everyone can wear them), I suggest trying them. My FSIL got contacts 3 weeks before her wedding. She had got them just for the wedding.

I've been wearing contacts since I was 16 - i cant stand wearing my glasses - i only wear them when i pull all nighters and my eyes need a rest the next day

Definitely wearing the contacts. I rarely wear my glasses anyway - only if my eyes are tired.

contatcs (and eye drops)...my eyes dry out so quickly... but I have had contacts for years so I am use to them...

Ditto, I wore my contacts & made sure I had an extra pair & a cleaning kit just incase I cried mascara under my lenses. I didn't but I felt better having a spare pair just in case

I actually had lasik done because my contacts were started killing me and I knew wanted to be able to see my FH at the end of the isle.

I guess the lasik worked for me - but I lost a bit of quality (still 20/20... but believe it or not I saw better with the contacts.)

I was actually thinking of getting Lasik done - my opthomologist said i should wait till my prescription stops changing though - My prescription actually stopped when i was 13 and didnt get worse - in fact it got better (i used to have astigmatism and now i dont) - well that was all good and fine until law school - my left eye has gotten so bad since law school - i'm hoping now - that i read a bit less - it'll slow down - i'm actually rather scared to do lasik though..

I am pretty blind without my glasses...but I wear contact about 95% of the time...I'll wear my contacts on the day of the wedding but bringing my glasses and an extra pair of contacts just incase.

I also wear my contacts at least 12 hours a day.

I told my doctor that I was getting married and she said a couple weeks before just come in and she will give 2 extra pairs of disposables (I usually wear regular ones) in case something happens on the wedding day or honeymoon.
