i am getting married at Chateau Briand and they are offering me a room that has lighting panels for the uplighting effect.
For those brides whose RH provides uplighting, is it something similar to this, or actual uplighting? have you seen it? do you have a picture?

yes, that's exactly waht i'm talking about. they're like wall panels and they turn the switch and voila... there's light... but i'm not sure if it'll look the way that uplighting does...

My hall has uplighting built into the walls. I have seen the lights on and it looks just like uplighting would! The best part is that I can even choose which color I want, so instead of the colors changing constantly, I can have all pink all night long

Hi. I just worked a party on Sat at Chateau Briand that had the panel uplighting (Normady Room). The did the lighting in red and it looked really nice and brought the entire room together. However, it's a little different then reg. uplighting. Since this is just paneling the color doesn't go floor to ceiling and there are areas of the wall that have no uplighting. HTH
