Do any of the future brides have children.. or do any of the newlyweds have children from before the wedding?
Will you/did you incorporate them into the wedding?
Rob and I have 2 little boys together and we are looking for ideas on how to include them. They will already be walking me up the aisle.. but I think I may want something more?
ALSO... how do you plan a honeymoon with 2 kids? We are thinking Beaches....

Re: Brides With Children
relatives. that's how you plan a honeymoon. it's not a honeymoon if you take the kids....that's a family vacation. my 5 year old went on her own vacation to Florida with my aunt for our honeymoon because let's face it, the whole point of the honeymoon is to be ALONE and enjoy your new marriage. You can't do that with kids. You just can't.
she was our flower girl.
i think one role is plenty in reality. if they are walking you down the aisle, they'll get tons of spotlight from that...and likely, it's all they'll want.

We have a baby boy together and FH will be walking down the aisle with him (I can't wait to see the two of them together). As for the honeymoon, all I can say is THANK GOD FOR GRANDPARENTS! Our son will be staying with my parents during our honeymoon. We'll be gone for about 10 days.

*sigh*
My parents are both deceased and Rob's parents have their hands more than full with his sister's son. All of my friends and family work and they can't take care of them for more than a day or so.
Maybe we will just skip the HM altogether! Apparently we honeymooned a little too much in the last 5 years to have made 2 little people!

I don't have kids, but I recently went to a wedding where the bride had a 4 year old. He was the ring bearer, he had a special dance with mommy at the reception (they danced to 'Sugar, Sugar'), and he went on their honeymoon with him. It was so adorable and the groom, the bride and her son were all excited about going to Disney on the honeymoon.

HA! That is true, but it's because you love each other so very much (and can't keep your hands off each other).
Just two days away might do you a world of good. Can you comvince any of your friends to keep them for 2 days so you can have a weekend away somewhere? I think even a little time alone would be enough to let you reconnect. Unfortunately, we can work with what we've got.

Re: Brides With Children
i recently went to a wedding where the bride had a child from a previous relationship and they had a child together. And when it came time to exchanged rings. The parents exchanged not only rings with each other, but rings with the little girls also. It was quite touching, and something they will have forever. They became their family rings!!!

I don't have kids, but if you absolutely have to bring children, what about a cruise? They have camps on board all day for the kids, and usually the kids spend all day there, so you have time to yourselves. They even have babysitters at night.
Might be an option. Most likely, they'll be on 'adventures' and doing crafts with the couselors during the day, while you're soaking up the sun having a drink on the sun deck.
Good luck!

I have a 9 year old and she is the Jr BM. And she will be staying with my mother and her father for the HM, we chose a Sandals because I didn't want to be somewhere where there was children or else I wouldn't be happy. I would be thinking of her the whole time.
