Brides with comfy shoe recommendations?

I was thinking about getting a Colorific shoe, but I am worried to death about my feet killing me. I definitely do not want a super high heel, either. I'm thinking 2-2.5 max heel.

My mom gave me a great tip when I bought my shoes. Buy them a half size bigger and put an insole in it. It gives you two benefits:

1- you have added cushioning
2- by the end of the night when you're feet are swollen from being on them all day, you can take the insole out and suddenly your shoe fits again!

That is ALWAYS how I buy shoes. I'm weird about shoes because maybe my feet are sensitive but I hate uncomfortable shoes. If your feet are swollen from sodium or heat or standing or anything you are miserable and all of mine have various inserts or back padding in them.

ive been drooling over the cole haan bridal shoes with nike technology. but i dont think i wanna spend $300.
