Brides with Irish theme

Brides with Irish theme

Hi Ladies,
My FI and I are both Irish and we are going to incorporate some Irish traditions into our wedding. Nothing overdone mostly subtle.
Here is where I am looking for advice.
My friend's husband has an Irish Step dancing school in Chicago. They are coming in for the wedding and as part of the wedding gift He has offered to do a step dance at the wedding. I thought it was a nice idea, but I am afraid people might think it is over done. Or lame. Both of our familes are Irish American. FI has Scottish lines too. Will it be too much? Honest opinions please.

Thanks

I think that is a great idea...did you consider bag pipes as well? I have been to many weddings where they have the bagpipes and it always gets a good response!

If you have the resources definately have stepdancers. It will be something guests will remember. Both my FH and I are Irish, my parents are from Ireland. We are having an Irish themed wedding. We are having bagpipers and drummers, my FH is in the Emerald Society. Any questions feel free to ask.
