Did you or will you have the NYPD band or Bagpipes perform @ your wedding?
Ive been to 2 NYPD weddings and they both had the bagpipes play... one was a suprise to the groom..... the other played during COctail Hour
I was wondering if i should do it, or if it would be corney....
anyone know how much it costs?

my next door neighbor got married 5 years ago a month after 9/11 and her father is a chief in the FDNY and a member of the Emerald Society. They performed at her wedding. Not a dry eye in the house.

DH and i are both nypd... as far as how much it costs, not a clue, sorry as far as corny... depends on your FH... how does he feel about theb job? a lot of people on nypd don't have warm feelings about it... my DH HATES the job, so i wouldn't want him to be reminded of it on his day... but you know your FH. if he loves his job, or if you think he would be touched, go for it

We went to a wedding that had them and all of the NYPD loved it. We are not going to be having them at our wedding, FH mentioned it once a while ago...I don't want them so I never brought it up. I don't know what the cost is.
