Brides with problem skin/ or anyone who can answer my question.
I need to start getting facials for acne on my face and chest! Does anyone know of a really good place they can recommend?

if you have bad acne i would suggest going to a dermatologist? are you on any type of medication for it yet?

if you are willing to trek into Manhattan, there is Mario Badescu Salon on E. 52nd Street that does facials.
I went there last week and can't stop raving about it!! I went for a basic facial ($65) and added a Glycolic peel ($35). My skin is STILL SMOOTH and very healthy looking now!!
I def recommend them!. Ask for Louise.

Yes I have, but I need something extra! I got a really good one that kept my skin acne free for a month, but that was on a cruise! It was an oxygen facial.

I break out alot and FH got me a gift package last year at the Oasis day Spa in Manhattan. The Facial was intense but a week afterwards my skin was clear and looked really good and stayed that way for a few months. Also they did a salt scrub all over my body which was amazing.

if you are on Long Island, the two that I have found that I like are Anna at the Cactus Salon in Plainview on Old Country Road, and the Cactus and Paul Mitchell School in Roosevelt Field. The school has facials for 40-50, and they are full hour long facials and really nice.
If you are going into the city, the Aveda Institute on Spring Street

My sister has acne and she keeps it under control with Proactiv...I don't know how much a facial will help but her face looks great!
