I don't think everyone should have to wear the same shoes for comfort purposes (what one foot can handle, another cannot ) As long as the shoes are the same color, it should be fine.

I don't know what I'm doing yet. The bets ideas I've seen were the bride buying the SM's matching jewelry. there's no rule that says shoes have to match. Some birdes want the same exact pair. Some just say same color. if you want it the same color, just make sure it's all made of the same material..diff materials dye differently. For my sister's wedding we decided same color, same fabric, open toe..and everyone picked a pair they were comfy with.

I found beautiful necklace's for them. As far as the shoes are concerned. I don't care if they're not all the same, as long as they are black dyable closed toe heels.

I agree. I plan on buying them matching necklaces and earrings to wear with their gowns, with the exception of my Junior Bridesmaid, MOH, and my FG. They will have different ones.

Re: Bridesmaid acessories.
Since my bridesmaids are wearing tea length dresses I want them to have the same style shoe but not necessarily the same exact shoe. I want them to all be dyed pink and be opentoed. I am getting my BM a pocketbook and jewelry as their gift.

Re: Bridesmaid acessories.
Is it okay if one wears open toe and the other wears closed toe?
Some of my bridesmaids have white shoes that were worn before as bridesmaid and they do not want to buy new ones. I guess as long as they are clean and comfy, it's okay

It is OK if they are wearing a long dress. The only reason I am picking a style is beacuse their dresses show their feet!

Thanks all for your great ideas and quick responses.
This is the only site I know that everyone responds so quickly.

I will buy their jewelry and they will all wear the same color shoe but whatever style as long as it's open toed.
I also want them to all have up do's so I am going to pay for their hair...at least that is the plan but even after the offer my MOH still thinks she wants to do her own hair. Oh well I am not going to argue over something silly like that.

My sis also told all the rbides to get updos!
You cna mix open and closed toe, esp if the dress is long. Even if it isn't...it's really not that big a deal as long as it's the same color. if it doens't bother you, then it shouldn't bother any1 else and who cares if it does!
