Hey, thats totally understandable. Being in a BP is an added expense. You dont have to ask another person.

awww, dont be upset. sometimes things happen, maybe she can do a reading or something. i dont think you need to ask someone else, im not having the same amount of girls and guys, im just having the people i love and are very close with.

Oh man....so sorry to hear that. I would only ask someone else if there is a person you have in mind that you really want in your BP. I wouldn't ask someone just to fill a spot. I would just say that FH only had x amount of people in his so it would've been uneven and now you are so excited to be able to ask her. If someone asked me after the fact I wouldn't have any hard feelings at all. I'd still be honored. Good luck!

Ok, if you need me to step in as a BM I totally will

but really, if you were to ask another person NOW they'd likely know they weren't your first choice! I wouldnt ask someone else.

i'm sorry! but things do happen so don't take offense to it or anything.

there is still plenty of time to ask someone else if you really want to, but you don't have to just to make the sides even.

if you do ask someone else i'd be sure to explain that you love them and thought of them all along but for whatever reason you didnt ask and that you hope they arent offended b/c it's not like they are a 'B List Bridesmaid'

My advice would be, hesitate asking someone else just to 'fill a spot', only do it b/c there was someone really special you had in mind, but for whatever reasons couldn't ask her the first time around.

I can completely understand your situation, my SIL was my MOH!!!....and she backed out suddenly after citing $$$$ reasons among other things (why she didn't tell me that from day 1, I'm, really not sure), and left me with no MOH. I was lucky enough to have a bridesmaid, my best friend, who understood and stepped up to be the MOH for me.

Whatever you decide, you're still gonna have an amazing day!!

I wouldn't ask someone else. It's ok if its off balance just have 2 girls walk with one guy. Thats what Im doing.

That *****, but she probably feels bad about it As of now, I have 2 girls and he has 5 guys. How lopsided is that?

I had one of my BM's back out and I decided not to replace her only for the reason is that there's nobody else that I really want to be standing besides me other than my other BM and MoH.

If there is someone though I would ask them but not let them know that the other backed out.
