I'm doing 2 different things - a bridesmaid tea @Robinson's Tea Room in Stony Brook (adorable place that does a full British tea) and a spa night @Polished. The girls are all psyched!

Question... is this all in addition to the BM gifts?... because I'm spending a good $150 on those.

In addition, I want to bring my BM's for their mani/pedis the day before the wedding as a thank you for the shower. I would love to go for massages, too, but it's waaaay too much $$ to pay for everyone! I may go with my MOH, though.

The morning of the wedding, I want to bring in breakfast for all the girls getting ready at the house.

Re. Robinsons Tea room...this sounds like a fun idea and would be a local/easy to go place for all...do you need a reservation to do this? Also, is polished a spa...whereabouts is it located...I know of two in the Port Jeff area...Nothing But The Best Day Spa...and St. Tropez...always lookin for ideas...thanks...

Re: bridesmaid brunch?

I had my bridesmaids over for brunch in January and I did the ribbon pulling cermony where each BM pulls a charm on a ribbon from a cake and each one means something like a key means a happy home and a heart means a life full of love etc.

I'm not doing anything. I've never had anything done like this for weddings I've been in. Guess it's just us.

I had a party for my BMs; the last wedding I was in, the bride took us all to a spa in Manhattan (Oasis--great place) for massages and then we went out for her bachelor party that night. She also treated us to a room at the W Court hotel too. SOOO nice!

I am planning to do this especially since some can't make it to the Bachelorette Party.

Re: bridesmaid brunch?

My choice is a bit out of the ordinary, since I am not having a shower (long story but I am okay with it) the girls wanted to do something really nice for me, so the day before the wedding we are going to have a spa day, but I will be taking them out to lunch/dinner depending on the time as a thank you.

The morning of I will bring in breakfast for the girls :)
