I read all the posts but rarely post myself...but had to due to the nature of my issue..and everyone is always so helpful!!!!! One of my bridesmaids dress doesnt fit her...I dont know what to do, she ordered it without trying it on...and now it wont fit. Any suggestions? Should I just relax and let her deal with it?

Relax....
A dress can be cut down two sizes and let out one. I'm sure the seamstress will be able to fix it. The size can't be off by that much is it?

Didn't the store require her to get measured? OR was it purchased at a store without trying on first? If it needs an inch or two in a certain area a good seamstress can usually do the trick. Don't panic, this is really her problem.

Thanks! You are right it is her problem, she should have tried the dress on, and taken the time out of her busy day. She is going to be the one walking down the aisle busting out of the dress...although you are right they can take it out I am sure..but who needs tihs stress when she should have tried it on like all of the other bridesmaids. I am not going to worry about it anymore...thanks!

I know someone who was in a wedding and refused to order her true size b/c she was convinced she would lose weight...she didn't and she was off by 3 sizes. they ended up ordering an extra panel of material...it was embarrassing for her, but in the end only those who knew the story noticed....its her problem not yours...everyone will still look beautiful for you!

casey, let her deal with it, you have enough stress, you don't need more! i don't mean to sound mean but she should have used more common sense!

I second the do not let her stress you. Bridesmaids are not needed for a wedding. What good reason could she have for ordering a dress that she did not try on first. I say let her deal with it. If they can't size the dress to fit her oh well she just cant be in the wedding.
My fiance's sister is in my wedding. The wedding is in three weeks and her dress is about 15 minutes from where she lives and she has not tried on the dress yet. I am not even letting it bothering me. When July 7 comes if that dress doesn't fit her she will not be in the wedding. I mean come on now this is not statistics we are asking them to do.
