Bridesmaid drama (( updated 7:20pm ))
Fun day for me.......yippee
I have spent the better part of my afternoon on the phone with family members who just do not get the grandiosity of this event!!
I asked 3 of my cousins to be bridesmaids. They all said yes, while jumping up and down and hugging me. One of my cousins plays professional basketball in Greece and couldn't write my wedding into her contract so she had to back out. I totally understood that because she get monetarily penalized for taking leave without contractual permission.
I asked my BP a year ago. I gave them ample time to save and acrue time off etc. They are/were starting to teeter.
I have started pushing them to get measured so I can order the dresses. Those b!tches are avoiding it, and me!!
All but 4 of my family members have booked their flights for our wedding, 2 of the 4 who haven't are my BM.
I called my aunt today and reminded her that costs will go up the closer the date gets and they are locked in, the reception is paid for sans the last small payment with a final head count.
I just went BRIDEZILLA on all of them! I told them exactly how much money has been spent by my mother!! My mom has been very very good to those little butth@les and they should quit wavering if not for me then for her!
Wouldn't you know, within and hour they all booked their flights!
ha ha ha a little strong arm will get the job done everytime!

So, I call my aunt and ask for the iteneraries. She didn't book the flight. She then goes on to tell me that the price went up almost $100 and she was gonna have to see what she can do.
So I cut her off and tell her to let he daughters get their own tickets, because they have been fired from my BP.
I called the younger cousin and told her, she was a bit snide and gave me a little push back but not too much.
My oldest cousin, she let her voicemail pickup. HM
She got fired via voice mail.
MAN I FEEL BETTER!
I called my sis to give her the lowdown and she says they haven't helped her at all with my shower, she gave up and has been doing the whole thing herself. So foul!
