I've found the style dress I like but they're too expensive. I guess I have expensive taste. Has anyone used websites to order dresses. If so which ones and how can I tell if the quality is good? I typically don't order clothes off the Internet. Thanks in advance

RK bridal has a cheaper ordering program for dresses. my girls saved almost 100 dollars. Its 'no frills' so they can order dresses online if they get their own measurements. They have to alter them out of the store. So what i did was went in, found the one i liked, had the girls try on the size they had there and we ordered them all together. I put them all on a card and they paid me back since so it cut down on shipping costs. Everything came to my house.
Both Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and Elena Bridal in Merrick were willing to get my girls their dresses for WELL under retail value. I ultimately went with Elena because it was easier for my girls, but I'm also working with Fantasia anyway for my dress/veil and both places have been so accommodating and sweet. I would check either of these places as well.

Re: Bridesmaid dress
i was always advised to steer clear of websites, particularly if they were offering the dresses at a very significant reduction ... a lot of them are counterfeits.

Go to Here Comes the Bridesmaid in Manhattan. Their website is Bridesmaids.com, and whatever the price on there is the same price in the store. My dresses were originally over $200, and they were $145 from HCTB. They don't do alterations, but I think it's fine bc now my friends can go get their dresses altered at a seamstress they trust.

My girls got their dresses for about $20 less than the designer's prices at the Wedding Center in Commack.

Yes, I have used and am currently using for my wedding NetBride.com...I feel like I advertise for them on here a lot haha but I swear I am not being paid. If you check out their website, or send an inquiry email they will explain everything to you. They order from the manufacturer just like bridal salons but they don't have the costs of running an actual bridal salon. Not to mention being web based, they can work with people all around the country and world! So their prices I find to be significantly discounted, but not so much that its too good to be true.
My favorite thing about them is the communication. They have responded faster and more frequently than any of my other vendors honestly. I ordered my dress from a bridal salon and had to call them to find out it was in. I have already received several emails from netbride regarding my bridesmaids dresses, even when I didn't inquire first. Also ordered my moms dress from them.

like other posters on this, I also went with Burton's... if there is a dress you like, call them and give them the style #. She will order it for you to her store and I'm sure it'll be alot cheaper... my aunt's MOB dress last year was $100 cheaper through Burton's.
