Bridesmaid dress color dilemma, recommendations please?

Bridesmaid dress color dilemma, recommendations please?

I'll start out by kind of painting a picture of everything else...

The reception is at VYC (think tans w/gold accents), ALL the flowers (centerpieces & bo-k's) are white, champaigne and pale pink. My favorite color is Tiffany Blue (Aqua) and I always planned on doing all my bridemaids in it but I'm not sure if it will be too bright too much aqua being the flowers are very classic and toned down. Then I was thinking of Black bridesmaid dresses with a Tiffany Blue accent (sash, maybe?) but I'm not so sure about that either. Now I'm just confused Can someone please give me some opinions please. Thanks!

I don't know if this will match the decor-- But what about a brown dress with the aqua sash or something like that

I absolutely love brown & blue together...the flowers in the more neutral tones would look gorgeous w/this combo.

I agree brown would look beautiful. Ask the florist what they think.

I think aqua blue BM dresses would offer a nice splash of color. The black with blue sashes would look nice as well.

Either way I would def add something to your neutral shades.

i really dont think that the aqua dresses will look bad .....you dont want your girls to blend in with the walls!

The blue dresses might be really pretty with the toned down flowers. That way there won't be too much color between them and they won't compete. Plus, that color will be really pretty in May.

Brown & Aqua do look gorgeous together but brown is definitely not my style

Yea I guess you're right Kim, but I just want to make sure it doesn't look cheesy. You definitely don't have that problem you can do hot pink, aqua and hot green and it wouldnt' look cheesy you're getting married in paradise

How about mixing the colors?

Go have the girls try on dresses in person and see the colors in person (even if it's not on the exact dress you want - at least see the color in the correct fabric and designer) before making ANY color decisions.

Pink is my absolute favorite color... but I didn't like any of the BM dresses I liked in pink - so I wound up with Navy dresses!

You may find a gorgeous tiffany blue colored dress, or you may decide you like a more subdued dress better and can accent it someho with tiffany blue.

You'll never know until you see it in person!
