I went with MOH to dress shopping and picked out a style I thought would work out good for everyone. But went I went with my other BM We were having a hard time getting something that looked on her that didn't look bad on the other one. Do u thinks its weird for the MOH to have a different dress style than the rest of the girls??

No that's not weird at all. I actually want all my girls in different dresses but same color. I like the way it looks. Its also a good way for the MOH to stand out from the rest of the bridal party.

Nope! Not weird at all.
This is what I'm doing too. I'm going to have everyone in the same color & fabric (or maybe BM one color and MOH another color) and they can select their own styles from a bunch.

Both my MOH are wearing different dresses than the other girls. I personally want them to stand out.

It will look fine! I'd rather that all the girls feel comfortable than that the dresses match.

That's not weird at all! Lots of people do that and my sister even had each bridesmaid wear a different dresses...we got to pick which dress we liked on us. You could do that as well if it is hard for you to find a dress that everyone likes. It still looked great in the pictures

I think that it is normal for the MOH to wear a different dress or in a different color than the BMs! That is one of the perks of being an MOH!

I have 6 bridesmaids ranging in size from 4 to 30 and in height from 5'0' to 5'10', so picking one dress to look good on everyone was impossible. I am using 3 different dresses from the same collection with 2 girls wearing each of the dresses. That way everyone is wearing something that she likes and feels comfotable in.
I'm probably going to have all of my girls wear different dresses or at least the MOH in a different dress. I love the way it looks...she's your MOH for a reason, why not let her stand out a little? I wore a different dress for my sister's wedding and I was the MOH (of course, I wish I would have picked the same one as the rest of the girls...). Good luck!

my 2 sisters are my MOH. they are wearing simliar dresses to bridesmaids, but theirs are more dramatic. i want them to stand out.

My MOH is wearing a different dress from my BMs. The dresses definitely compliment each other and look like they 'fit' together. We went with one designer, one color, two dresses. Check out my album for pics. The dresses are in the wrong colors, though.
