Bridesmaid dress for the ladies out there with bigger 'girls'
So I found bridesmaid dresses that I love, put them on order, and then realized that maybe they're not the best fit for my friends who are of the large chested variety- read DD to F!! I love this dress, but I'm worried about them finding really good low=back strapless bras.
1. Do you think this dress would be ok for larger chested ladies? 2. Do you know of any really good, low-back, strapless bras in large sizes?
Thanks!

i think it's fine. it's not toooo low cut so it should be ok. Just have the girls go with you to try them on & if you don't like them, then change it.

The dress looks like it has mittle straps they can use- so they should be fine. Did the girls see teh dress already?
I dont think there will be any issues with it- but then again i dont have large 'girls'

I think the dress should be fine. Definitely have the girls you are worried about go and try the dress on before making a decision.

I have DD and that dress would be a problem for me as I need the support of a regular bra or a top that is tight to go with a straples bra. Did any of your BM try the dress??

I have 2 big brested girls in my wedding and I got a similar dress, BUT the straps are MUCH wider. The girls told me they HAD to wear a full size bra to keep their boobies up.
I think it might be a problem. Make SURE the girls go.

Yeah, I went in with the intention of deciding between 2 dresses that my bridesmaids did try on, and ended up finding a totally different dress that I liked even better. I'm sending them to try on the dress this week, fingers crossed it works. Maybe the salon can use extra fabric to create thick straps to hide a bra... I'm willing to be creative to make this work because I really liked the dress! Thanks everyone!

As a big breasted lady myself, I think that dress would be just fine. A great suggestion for the girls would be buying a strapless longline bridal style bra instead of trying to wear a strapless regular bra. The dress is beautiful and I think it would be great for any style body/breasts

Ahh that's my bridesmaid dress!! lol, I haven't seen anyone else pick that dress before. I have some busty girls in my bridal party and everyone loves that dress, it looks good on everyone and definitely accommodates them in the chest area. The halter strap is very thin but it helps. My MOH is wearing it strapless and still won't have a problem. The girls in the bridal store said it has boning in the chest area that should help to shape it.

the dress is really nice but with the neckline and having bm's that are large chested, i'd worry about cleavage. Some girls like to show it, others don't. I'd have all of them try it on and see what they think.

You have great taste! :) I love the dress because it has a sweetheart neckline and buttons down the back just like my dress! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my girls are ok with it and we'll be able to make it work! Thanks again everyone, I love this site!

I agree. Strapless bras are fine for a little while, but they become very uncomfortable and less supportive as a whole day/evening oes no, espcially when you have to find one htat will hide under that type of dress which isn't going to offer additional support on its own.
SOmething to consider when taking people's feedback... are your girls plus size or just large chested? Because that will affect the strapless bra situation and whether or not that dress has enough coverage for a suitable bra.
To be clear, that dress is beautiful, I really like it, I'd just be concerned wearing it as a larger girl and i wouldn't want to have to have a seamstress ruin the intergrity of the design you chose by having to modify to fit a larger girl, rather than picking a dress that would look fantastic on that girl to begin with.
Won't know anything for sure til they try on though, so good luck, I know you really love it so I hpe it works out for everyone!.
ETA if the dress still looks promising and your girls need good foundation garments Blum's in Patchogue is great for that, especially for girls in large sizes.

its hard to tell from the picture - the best thing would be for the girls to try on. you never know if it could work or not until you see how it fits. good luck!
