My wedding is in 7 months and I can't find the bridesmaid dress. I've been to 6 stores (3 times with bridesmaids), looked at every swatch, and went on every website for every bridesmaid dress company and I am not satisfied with anything.
First of all- I want BLUE. Not royal blue, cornflower, sky, tiffany blue, sapphire, periwinkle, navy, sailor, peacock, midnight... JUST REGULAR BLUE!!! But NO ONE makes regular blue. And everytime I THINK I find the right color, I'm still not happy with it. There has only been 1 shade of blue so far that I like and it's called 'deep sea' by Jasmine/Bellsoie and it only comes in FOUR DRESSES! And of course I don't like a single one of them!!
WHY Can't it be easy?? WHY can't they just use that color blue for everything???
Everyone thinks I'm crazy.... my mom is saying 'the color of the bridesmaid dresses is not important- it's about you and Rob getting married' Ok totally true... but this is also the basis of our entire color scheme for the wedding. I don't want to look at the pictures and hate them b/c the colors aren't right. The girls are probably all getting annoyed that I keep wasting their time and every week I like a new dress.
I'm so not a bridezilla normally, but this is just one thing I WANT and everyone thinks I'm crazy and making too big of a deal. I really don't want to give in to a color I'm not happy with.
I'm sorry I had to vent...

I was looking for that color too (I think, if I get what you mean) and eventually gave up b/c I just couldn't find what I wanted....so I went a different way. But I totally hear your frustration! I hate how swatches online look so different, and dresses that come in good colors are either ugly or REALLY EXPENSIVE!

I wanted the same thing and it doesn't exist. the only things that came close were horrible dresses, so I ended up doing BL indigo which is close enough to what I wanted and in my mom's opinion a little 'classier'
I wish designers realized there was this gap in the market though!!!!!
What do you consider regular blue? What at the dresses Matilde's girls wore -- that was blue.

Good luck finding them...I was just glad we finally found a dress they all agreed on in a color I didn't hate, nevermind love. I'm not a patient inidividual for things like that....my only thought about your specific color is that colors often look different in pictures anyway.
