So, I know that i tend to let peoples opinions persuade me... way too much... but Ineed help..
I am not sure what to do with the bm dresses that I originally wanted. The colors were going tobe blue and brownand now, I was told that the black from the tux with offset the color scheme?
Im searching high and low for brown tuxes around all the neighborhoods of all the gm to make life easy on them but thats not working either..
So I guess my question is... if you were having a blue dress with a brown sash, what would you use for the groomsmen? Or, would you change the dress in entirely?
thanks in advance, I know I can count on your help!

You can still have the black tux and do either brown or blue for the guys. Im having a hard time with this as well. We are doing either black with the girls colors inside. Or Fh will wear brown and ivory yo match me and the guys brown/girls colors. I have to see it on....I dont wont to have too much Brown/camel, I dont know if it'll look good.

Re: Bridesmaid dress help
I am having pink dresses with brown sashes so I am having a similar issue... I decided that I am leaving the tuxes black. I know it wont match 100% but the way I see it black matches everything and to be honest... I didn't like the idea of FH wearing a brown tux.. I feel like he would look best in basic black. I will probably put like a pink handkerchief and maaaaybe tie, etc to add some color into the tuxes...
I absolutely refuse to change the BM dress colors... I have it all planned out in my head how everything will look and I am not changing it now!!

Re: Bridesmaid dress help
stick with your original plan..the black it he tux will NOT look bad at all...i have seen lots of brides do this...i almost wonder if the brown tux would be too 'matchy' ya know? I think you should stick with your plan!

I don't think it would look bad if you stick to your original colors and the guys wear black tuxes.
I've seen a few bridal parties with brown BM dresses and black tuxes and it looks really nice. I wouldnt change anything you had planned. You can always have the guys wear a brown tie and vest to match the girls.

Re: Bridesmaid dress help
I'm doing chocolate brown dresses and the guys will most likely be in black tuxes with brown vests and ties. I thought it would look weird but we were looking around some wedding places yesterday and I saw it on a mannequin and it looked awesome.
But here's a brown tux...

i'm a little weird about this, but to me tuxes are black and anything else looks funny. i know they come in other colors but i only considered black for the tuxes.
we are doing blue bm dresses, with blueish striped ties for the GM and black tuxes. pix in album
many girls have done brown with black tuxes and it looked great

You can do black tuxes . . . . they go with anything. Also, don't forget, MOST of the time, your BM's and GM's are not standing right next to each other . . . . even in pics, for the most part.

I'm doing all brown dresses and we're going to have black tuxes for the guys. I dont think it would clash.

You can still have a black tux and then have brown or blue vests. There's no reason you can't have a black tux. No matter what color the BMs dresses are, black tuxes always go with everything.

I don't think you have too much brown to worry about if it is only the sash. I think the black tuxes will be fine!
