My BM dresses were black by Bari Jay and we had black tuxedos for the GM it was perfect! The pictures came out amazing, and so classic. I have no seen the Navy Blue though but i'm sure it will be nice and not too dark.
I actually had my BMs try a bunch on in navy because they didn't have my color. It's definitely a pretty color and it's a distinct navy blue so think it would be fine with black tuxes.
For some reason Bari Jay does not like to send their samples in various colors. I had the same problem with their sage color. Call around and see if if different bridal salons have the navy color you want to see. I hear Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills has good selection of Bari Jay's collection. I plan on going down there to check out their dresses there. (I heard they have a dress in sage)!!
