I really liked the POB BM dresses and wanted the girls to pick out whatever dress they wanted (I have 7 girls). Do you think that it would look weird if the dresses were different material (some are satin and some are silk) but the same color(dandelion)? Let me know- we are going to try them on tomorrow!

I would just make sure that there is a nice mix of the materials. Like not just one girl in the silk (unless she is MOH).
Like maybe try and get a 3/4 split?

I would limit the styles to only one material if you'll actually worried..I know that Alfred Angelo has TONS of different styles that ALL come in the same color... You should check them out. :)

i would pick the same material because even if the color has teh same name it looks different when its satin, silk or taffeta. i'm not sure how anal you are about the matching of the color

I was leaning towards using different fabrics- alot of girls on here kept telling me not to do it- but i dont like matchy-matchy- have your girls try them on and stand next to eachother and see how it works....I'm gonna do that next week- let me know how it goes!

Also definitely take some photos with the girls in the dresses next to each other. Different fabrics will photograph differently, catch the light differently, and colors may not look even close in photos.
