Hi Gals I have about 8 dresses that I like right now. My gals are trying them on this weekend. How did you decide which dress to choose? thanks when I found my wedding dress I just knew that was it!

what helped me was seeing the dress on the girls. Ones I liked in magazines or on the hangers didn't always look as good on. The dress I have picked looked good on all. I felt color was harder to choose than style...

I picked a color and the girls get to pick their favorite style.....I find it's less stress and it looks good in pics too!

I have a huge bridal party, so I picked the color. The MOH picked a seperates designer. Every girl picked their own top! 12 girls, 12 different tops, 12 happy girls!8

My sister (my MOH) picked out the dress. I just told her that it had to be green.
I took my sister to the store and we pulled out so many dresses in styles that we liked...then she tried them on...and we narrowed it down and narrowed it down...

I went with my MOH and we tried on a million dresses. And there was one we ended up both being in love with. So then I picked a color and showed the rest of my girls!!!!

I had my sister (MOH) pick out the dress she liked - and I gave her a choice of 2 colors.

I had a dress in mind but one of my BMs found 'the' dress so I had her try on one and another girl try on the one I originally liked, and basically it was no contest. I love my BM dress almost as much as my gown!

I printed out several different gowns that I liked and emailed them to my bridesmaids. When we went shopping, they all browsed through the racks and started trying on different gowns.
I really wanted my girls to pick out a gown they liked. I left the choice up to them. I told them I like 2 piece gowns and they did the rest.
One of my bridesmaids came out in this gown that all the girls loved, so we ended up going with that one. The price was right too, so that helped a lot.
We then looked at the color samples and agreed on the color.

im still indecisive, i might end up just picking a color and letting the girls pick the dress...
but what really helped to limit it down, is let one girl actually try on the dress, so you see what it really looks like

I'm having a similiar dilemma. My BM's go from a size 2 to a 14. More and more I'm leaning towards picking a color, a designer and letting them pick their own dress.

I picked a few I liked, and told them the color I wanted. They can pick out what they want. They have to wear it.. I trust them. they probably have better taste then me anyway.. but I think you should post them and let us VOTE!!!

The drama I went through with my 6 BMs..ugh! I started with the whole this is the dress and color, and most of the firls hated it. So, I ended up picking the color and the express your options line from Davids and let them pick their own. 3 ended up picking the regular A-line and 3 picked the strapless. I'm happy with the way it turned out and so are they. Good luck!!!

I let them pick, but I only have two so it was easy! Ive seen it done alot where the bride picks out the designer and the color and then each individual girl picks out her own dress. My siter did this and we all looked great, we were all shapes and sizes and it worked out well because we were all comfortable!!! Good Luck!!!
