Bridesmaid dress nightmare!!!!! David's Bridal decided to 'dicsontinue' my BM color!!!
So, after looking at what seems 100000000 places and dresses, I decided on using a style in the wood violet color at David's Bridal (the seperates) I had finally gotten all three different states of bridesmaids to try on/size, and even bought coordinating flowers for decorating, etc.
WELL, I stop by on Sat. to check things out, and notice that NO WHERE on their new catalogue does it show the dresses that I picked. So, I asked the manager if they were discontinuing them. She tells me no, sometimes they do that, blah blah. She even checked the warehouse, and said they are still making them, and that I should be fine for at least a month.
Then today i get the nightmare call from my sister in south florida- the mangager there told her that they ARE discontinued, and if my girls don't order them within the week, they probably will have to buy a store sample, or worse, not get the dress at all!!!! I am soo furious! I called all I could and urged them to get their dress ASAP. So far, three are bought, and five more remain!
I am sorry, I just needed to vent on this. You would think that they could have better communication in the stores about what they are phasing out!
