I am not sure where to find what I need. here's the deal: I found this bridesmaid dress that will fit all of the girls in my party and is what I like, elegant. I took two of them this weekend to try them on. And i found that most of the places we go have only one size and color. My cousin is a small 6 and my friend is a 10, but needs a little extra space up top :-) All they had were 10s. Does anyone know how I can find some varying sizes in this dress?? The Web site says that they only supply retailers, so I can't even buy the dresses on the Web. Help!

You are not going to be able to find it, Sorry. I looked high and low, called all retailers, outlets, distributors to find a sample of the dress I wanted and NO ONE CARRIED IT. UUUGGHHH!!! It was and still is very frustrating. I am going to take a BIG chance and just order them with having only seen the material and color in the shop. This is the ONLY BM dree I have liked and will just go for it.

I'm a little confused. Is this a regular bridesmaid dress? If so you should be able to order whatever size you need. Usually in the salons, the dresses are 10's is what I noticed and the samples are usually in one color. There are ways the salon can clip the back of the gown to give you a better idea of how it would fit. But a lot times with color, you have to just take your chances, because salons usually don't have samples in every color. I hope I helped a little. What gown is it? Do you know designer/style #? Maybe I can help you better.

dabesi75: Sorry, i was confusing. Yes, it's a regular BM gown. And yes, they are all size 10 and pink. I wanted to at least see a size closer to my cousin's frame. We did clip them and you get an idea. But it's hard to tell, if the 10 is tight for instance, if the 12 will look good. I think it's a leap of faith. The color we saw is beautiful, but will wash out two of the fairer girls. I found a dress close to the color swatch, and two of the four had it on and it looke dnice (the color). The only place you will find varying sizes is Davids
Most shops will pin the BM in so you can get a good idea. One of my BM is a 16-18, and she is the only onw who did not try the dress on

We went to David's and saw a couple of things there...I guess we can see the color on them in the size we want, at least. And then try it from there...with the dress I like.

Very pretty gown! Considering the style I think it would be easier to alter in the end if need be. If it was strapless or had a lot more going on, maybe it would be a little more difficult. But, don't fret, things will work out!

Thank you! i was loved it right away. And it looked great on the two girls that were with me. And should look find on the other two. It's the color.that shell pink and then champage washed out one girl and was fine on the other. The woman showed us other colors and said not to be afraid of good colors. So she brought other colors and we loved this one deep, warm cranberry red. I was surprised. But I can't see that dress in the color. I think from that URL you can see color swatches. I think it's wineberry or garnet?

ooh both colors are beautiful! I am also using wine. It's pretty much the same as the Wineberry color on that site!!! I think it will look fabulous!

The way BM dresses are shown in shops is almost always just a sample, which are usually in sizes 10 or 12. Then they will measure you to see which size you'll order. And, they just about always need alterations. Wish there was a better way, but I've yet to find it!

I think the place you go should at least have the color swatch on hand so you can see it close up. I know when I was shopping all stores had only one size and color. They always had a book with all different swatches and color.

right, they did have the swatches and we found another style close to the color. and it was so nice... but I'm just hoping the WTOO dress (which at the URL above is pink) will look ok in a deeper color. Such anxiety!
