I think you should make a decision whether she will love it or not. It's your wedding after all I went BM dress shopping this weekend as well and it was SO STRESSFUL because I was trying to make everyone happy.

I totally understand your feelings. One of my BM called the dress that I liked 'Matron-like.' Granted she is the oldest of the BMs, but I was trying to hard to make everyone happy.......sigh

I dread this. My BM's are very vocal. This is been my biggest problem so far. My MOH has had an opinion on everything I have done up to this point.

I know that at least 3 out of my 5 BM's tried on and like their dress, and I'm not so worried about the other two. Either way, more than half of them like it and I love the dress, therefore, that's the dress. And you need to be the same way about it. Just remind them who's running the show here!

Oh boy, there is on pain in the a$$ in every crowd, isn't there!! She has to understand it's a 'collective' decision and she doesn't have to LOVE the dress she just has to wear it. If she is the only one of the BM's being a bother, consider yourself blessed. I'm sure the excitment of the other girls will grow on her too. Don't let it stress you to much. If I remember correctly the dress you posted was really nice.

That's gotta be so frustrating! As long as it looks good on them...why should they complain? They'll wear it for about 7 hours!

one thing you have to realize- you cant satisfy everyone so if you really like that dress and your BMs are OK with it I say go for it! I

its really hard to make everyone happy.. i'm going to wind up doing separates and letting them pick their own from a selection that I pick from

Re: Bridesmaid dress shopping
I just posted my opinion about this in another post... so i cut and copy it.... here is what I think...
'I have been in a few wedding and basically when u agree to be a bridesmaid its like signing ur fashion rights away. If the bride wants you to wear a jester hat and juggle balls down the isle that is what you HAVE to do.. if u dont want to then u better think twice about agreeing to be in the party'
Basically U tell them what u ant them wearing!!! I mean i know it sounds harsh but its the truth of it. i mean when it is her wedding she can decide...till then... tough
Yeah Brit ur right there is a pain in the a$$ in every group but i guess that why Ang. calls be King Beotch.. i put my foot down when need be!
