Bridesmaid Dress Shopping

Hey ladies,

My maid of honor is coming to NY all of next week and we are going to start to look for some BM dresses in LI to get some ideas.

I honestly dont even know where to begin to look, can i have some ideas of some good stores?

NO, dresses there start at $1800-ALLLLL dresses. They dont have typical BM dresses, they have an evening wear collection and theyre 1800 and up also

When is it a good time to start looking?

im just going to pick the one i like and then tell the girls.

bc to many ideas will just get me cookoo!

my wedding is Jan 12 and they told me to order my dresses by August 12 so that is 5 months before to ORDER THEM

but PLEASE remember - you have to go pick them out THEN all the girls have to go order them. . .

so i would start about 7 months out - gives you a month to pick one out and a month for them to order it. . .

its easy to forget that the moment you order them the girls are going to be able to just run out and get them! lol

I absolutely love dealing with Angel Bridals in East Islip. they've been wonderful...and have a great selection...

for my sisters weddings we used Lillettes and Adreinnes...not a problem at either of them

i had a good experience at the bridal suite of bay shore and bridal reflections in massapequa also, renate's in lindenhurst is really good.

me too-- except renates i never went there!
