bridesmaid dress shopping stress
Re: bridesmaid dress shopping stress
I can't help you with the style, but in terms of price-- I would search EXTENSIVELY online for gowns that you like. Or if you find one in a store, say thanks, get a quote, then leave. Then it is VERY important to comparison shop! Call different stores in your area and have them quote you and get it from the cheapest place. Lots of cheap places in Brooklyn too. They're all ordering them from the same warehouse for the same price, why pay more? You're ordering them early enough so they shouldn't botch the arrivals up anyhow. Then they usually know or have a tailor. Just dont' overspend- I ordered mine rush and I got COMPLETELY different quotes from ppl! I paid $20 to rush order from the place I got mine and another store had quoted me $50 for the rush which is crap to even make profit off a rush charge. So spend wisely...
Re: bridesmaid dress shopping stress
i think bill levkoff has dresses that are veryy flattering for all body types
Re: bridesmaid dress shopping stress
try david's bridal - they are much more reasonably priced...
Re: bridesmaid dress shopping stress
I second bill levkoff or wtoo. I found several nice dresses (you have to try them on...look sooo much better on) for 180-210. that was a big thing for me too, keeping it under 200. I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and they helped me find those designers.
Re: bridesmaid dress shopping stress
Try ordering the gowns through Burton Bridals in Melville. They can order a lot of designer dresses and get you a great price. I ordered Bill Levkoff style 966 and their price was around $150. Thats was $40 cheaper then othe bridal salons.
Re: bridesmaid dress shopping stress
If you are willing to travel into NYC-- RK bridal has the best prices probably for BM dresses and they beat online prices by 10%. I like Bill Lefkoff and Jim Hjelm has really pretty options. HTH!
