Bridesmaid dresses..

How far in advance did everyone order? I know I have to get my butt in gear and really start looking but am I really that late? How long does it take for them to come in?

I don't think you're too late, but then I'm the week after you and I still haven't even taken my girls shopping. I'm waiting for the spring lines to get to the stores. I figure as long as I have the dresses ordered by the end of January, I'll be fine. If worse comes to worst, Davids always has the off the rack option. I'm not worried

yea. i wanted to get it over and done with. i have a big bp and it was very, very hard to get it all situated.
so now i don't have to worry about that.
but in other BP's that i've been in, the time frame ranged from 6-11 months...so don't worry!

I am a week or so before you and I dont have mine ordered yet either! I am aiming for the end of January!

Monters what happened with your dresses? Did you pick one yet? FM me!

My BM dresses are already in too. It took them almost 4 months to come in. They were ordered in Aug and came in the beginning of Dec.

I ordered them in May & they just came in 2 weeks ago. My wedding is in 4 weeks.

11 months, but it was the same time I ordered mine and my BM and MOH (MOH is out of town) wanted to go with me. Since everyone was there, we just ordered there's too since we found them.

Mine just came in - I wouldnt worry but I think by end of January you should have them ordered. It took around 3 1/2 months to come in.

I plan on ordering them after the holiday. I was told that it takes 3 months for them to come in.

We bought them off the rack, no alterations needed. We bought them exactly a year in advanced which we were lucky because a week before our wedding there were none left.

I am a July 04 bride too ... my BM's are probably not ordering their dresses till February. The place only requires that they be ordered 4 months in advance, and even if you are later than that they will rush an order. I'm not worried.
