How far in advance are you going/did you go?

Order in June for my March wedding, so 9 months in advance. I wanted enough time just in case

We are going to order the bm dresses from David's Bridal. They suggested we order the dresses at the beginning of next month to ensure enough time for a January wedding. We will be ordering them about 4 months beforehand.

I'm thinking we'll order in September for my June wedding. I'd like to have lots of time for alterations and allow for any complications.

My wedding is in December and I ordered in July. So that makes it 5 months..more than enough time. I didn't want there dress just sitting in a closet!!!

They should be here in October sometime............ which is great cause fittings are in November since my wedding is early December.

my girls ordered their dresses last week. the bridal suite takes the order and will process it, but most won't get the dresses until a couple of months before the wedding anyway. It doesn't hurt to order early if the bridal suite you are dealing with will store them. good luck!

I am getting married July 2006 and we have started looking...I want to order by end of October or earlier so that it's done and the girls are happy...wamted tp really take the time to find something everyone is comfortable in and that I LIKE too!!!

We just ordered....bc they told me..6 months for the dresses to come in...and my MOH wont be back until Dec...and then May....so we kinda had to do it bc of her...but they are very pretty!!!!!

Picked the dress in April

1 MOH was measured then, 2 BM were measured last week and the other MOH and BM are OOT, and are emailing their measurements next week, so the order goes in next week.

I selected/ordered early b/c 1-I know I like this dress (been eyeing it for almost 1 yr) and 2-it's an older style and I am afraid of it being discontinued!
