$$$ Bridesmaid Dresses

Okay so I've narrowed down my BM dress choice to two or three dresses that I like and so do the girls. However they are all $200 or more. I've called about 6 places already too to find the places with the best prices. The majority of the girls would be okay with the price since they basically already said 'whatever it costs, it costs' but there are a couple that I think might have a problem with the price.

Do I sacrifice for another dress that not everyone really LOVES just because it costs less???

I think it just really depends on what the feeling you get from your girls are. If you think they are truly ok with spending the money then go for it. But if you think it might cause hard feelings down the road then maybe not.

Have you tried negotiating with the store? I was able to get them down a little in price because there were a lot of girls...you never know!

Honestly, it is what it is and if it makes you happy (the dress) then so be it. The couple should know that being in a wedding ISN'T cheap.
Heck, I was the MOH in my friends wedding 2 years ago and the dress she picked was $380 Lazaro dress
I was completely broke, but knowing what I was getting into and left it alone.

I would ask all of the girls separately and see what they say. If a few of the girls really can't afford it, then I personally wouldn't want to put them in a tight spot.

I have to agree. I have a pretty good idea of what my girls can afford and I told the consultant not to show me dresses over the amount (even if I was madly in love with them). Hopefully when they all get married they will remember my kind gesture. I am not saying to settle, but you might be able to find a dress by another designer that looks almost exactly the same (there is only so much you can do to a BM dress to make it look different) Good Luck!!

Phyliss will tell you her price over the phone, and chances are, it's the lowest one you'll find ( I ordered my gown & all bm dresses thru her)

Check with Phyliss 1st, to get the lowest possible price, then run that $$ by your bm's and see what they think.....

I actually got the lowest quotes from netbride.com and RK Bridal no frills. Phyliss's prices were higher than both these places.

If you love that dress then order them online. Both of these places have gotten positive reviews from girls that have used them.
