My bridesmaids include 4 girls and 1 lives in florida, I was thinking about having her get her dress in a bridal salon there that has the same exact dress that my other girls in NY will be getting but in one of the salons that I visited I was advised not to do that because the swatch of the color might not match if it's not coming from the same store. Has anyone ever encountered this issue. Please Help!!

I will be honest, I have 4 girls out of state, and I had them all go to a salon by them to GET MEASUREMENTS... They called the salon in NY and gave there measurements, and all dresses will be ordered in NY. Once they come in, I will ship the dresses to them, so they can get them altered where they live. ***You never know if the colors will match, so my advice, have them get their measurements form a professional, and call them in to the salon where the other girls are going. *** It works out better because they will all be the same color, and ordered at the same time!!

I would suggest ordering them together because that is a true statement that the color might not match exact. I have one BM in FL as well and all she did was go to a local seamstress, got measured and sent her info into the Salon in NY. When the dress came in, they mailed it to her. She will have alternations done in FL, but at least it's the same dress, etc.. as all the other girls.
This is VERY common so don't worry about it.
