Are any of you having trouble finding bridesmaid dresses. I feel like i'm the only one. I found so many on line that I love but when you go and see them in person its another story and the colors are not what I'm looking for. This is harder than finding a wedding dress. I guess it also doesn't help that my sister is getting married in October and she chose a common dress and was suppose to chose red as her color but went for wine instead which puts a damper on the colors that I like... I'm so upset

Sorry you are having trouble.
The designer Forever Yours has 50 colors to choose from. I chose a dress that looks just like the Bill Levkoff with the sash that hangs in the back. It is best to see the color swatches in person. Online they look totally different. Good luck!!!!

Re: Bridesmaid dresses?
Thanks ladies. I wanted to get most of my wedding planning done before my sisters wedding and my sister is using the dress from bill levkoff with the sash hanging down. I'll have to keep looking... Going to Lynbrook bridal tomorrow because they have a good selection. I went to Couture Bridal in Manhasset and it appears that they would have a large selection but it's like 2 1/2 racks, very disappointed and for the whole 20 minutes we were there no one ask me if I needed help>>>Gotta love that!

Re: Bridesmaid dresses?
Take one of your bridesmaids or MOH with you and let them loose in the bridal salon. Let her try on dresses that she likes/thinks will look good on her, and take it from there.
I actually origionally wanted lilac, but when on of my bridesmaids pulled out a teal dress, I changed my mind completely! This is how I found ou 1) what those dresses looked like on real people 2) what looked good on her and the rest of the BP.
Good luck!

Re: Bridesmaid dresses?
Bridesmaid dress shoppping didn't go so well.... We are going shopping again on Thursday to Macy's in Manhasset. I can't find something I love on the girls. I feel like they keep picking out dresses for a sweet sixteen. Hello we are adults now. I want something a little more mature, sexy and elegant. I guess that's to much to ask for.
