Bridesmaid Dresses

How far in advance are you ordering your bridesmaid dresses? Also where are you getting them from? I got my dress from Davids Bridal but I wasn't crazy about any of the BM dresses I saw & I'm not sure where has nice dresses at affordable prices..any suggestions would help Thanks!!!

I am ordering my bm dresses the end of August from Macys (Demetrios) inthe Smithhaven mall, they are eden bridals brand

I 'think' I'm going to wind up with a watters & watters dress.....

I'll probably get them from Phyllis at Bridal Elegance or RK bridal (depending on who can get it cheapest)....

ETA: I was planning on having a BM try on some dresses this summer and order them by labor day. I was going to do them about 9 months out.

Also, whichever dress you fall in love with for your BM's, call RK and Phyllis. They've been able to get the same dress for cheaper than if you went through a salon, and they cap their alterations at a low price...

I am gonna go soon to look, i did go once with 1 bm and we found one dress that we both loved and my MOH had said she loved it when i sent her pics.

But i am gonna order them in the summer bc alot of places say it will take 9 months.

Check out RK bridal, they have a huge selection of BM dresses, thats where i went when i wanted to browse BM dresses

MIne are done. Mori Lee dresses through Phyllis at Bridal elegance, she is by far the best pricing you'll get..

I want to go soon with my BMs to look for dresses because FH's sisters are leaving for Italy in August and they won't be back until next May, and I really want them to be there when we pick a dress.

Let me tell you they came in SO FAST!!! She was liek if you love the dress order them, I loved the dress and the price cause I paid ofr my girls dresses as a gift.....I think they took all together 4 months

I just ordered them. My bridesmaids tried on over 50 bridesmaid dresses....and at the end, the ones that looked best were from retail stores like j.crew and ann taylor. I'm using the jcrew. silk chiffon sophia dress....

Oh, good, then I have some time to order them. I have two BM's out of state, maybe I can find a store that sells the dress in MD, instead of having them send their measurements.

Same here - don't want to do it too early, but don't want to do it too last-minute.

I wouldn't b/c the dielots wont be the same if the dresses aren't all ordered at once from the same place

I think I'm going to order my dresses from Aria Bridals. You order them online, they don't sell in bridal stores and only have locations in DC, Boston, and LA. I'll be in Boston with three of my bridesmaid in June so we're going to try on the dresses. I'll probably order them in November for my June wedding. They take four months to come in...

For my sisters wedding we actually all got our dresses from JCPenney and they were really pretty but they don't order them anymore you just have to buy from what they have in stock and I'm afraid that if I need another dress or something then there might be a problem..Did these stores order them for you or you bought from there stock?
