Re: Bridesmaid Dresses
The Wedding Center in Commack has a really big selection. They don't have the best rep, but I ordered my dresses from there and they were very helpful (some of the women are nicer than others, so if you go there and get someone you're not happy with, switch to someone else. Ellie & Carrie are two of the people I remember who were helpful. Carol is definitely not very friendly)

Re: Bridesmaid Dresses
I went to Commack Wedding Center last night and was very skeptical bc Ive read alot of bad reviews but had an awesome lady and with her help my girls found a dress they all loved. They have a HUGE selection! However, we then went upstairs and I wanted to try on 2 dresses and when I asked the lady up there if I could she was obnoxious and rude to me and said Id have to wait she was busy and walked away. She wasnt busy she was just outside smoking and doing nothing and there was only 1 bride there who was being helped. We couldnt believe how rude she was so we walked out. But I would def give it a shot!!!

The experience there definitely will vary depending on WHO helps you. I went on a Sat morning with my mom, aunt and all 4 BMs. We stayed a few hours downstairs trying on dresses and had a great time bc the lady helping us..Marie-Kate/Mary Kay? was nice and had a sense of humor. She went upstairs with us too, helped me into my gown and pulled a few veils/headpieces for me to try on. She also carried my heavy-as-bricks gown back and forth from Alterations across the parking lot LOL. She actually seemed happy to help, which was a huge relief because I've read the online reviews before going and was prepared for the worst.

I went to the wedding center in commack. They did not have an upstairs or a big selection. Are we speaking about the same place, on Austin Blvd I believe?
