So I tried going bridesmaid dress shopping for the first time this weekend. I am picky about the color only and not really the style. Unfortunately, the store didn't have a single dress in the color I'm looking for and it's so hard to visualize from just the little swatches. So I'm looking for your help!
Have any of you girls ordered Belsoie dresses in the color Orchid or Allure dresses in the color Mulberry?
It's so hard for me to know if its the color I want from the swatches and it never looks the same on the computer. I tried calling about 10 places to see if they had any dress in either color in store and they didn't.

I went through the same thing. The dress I chose, the only color ANY store had to try it on was in literally the most hideous shade of green. I wanted a purple. I ordered the swatch book from Alfred Angelo, picked a color I liked and said a prayer! LOL! They came in last week and I went with one of my bridesmaids for a fitting this weekend, and I LOVE the color! You might just have to trust your instincts on this one!

It's so frustrating that they wouldn't have alot of colors. The shade of purple I want isn't ridiculous or uncommon so I'm shocked.

I'm obsessed with the same color! This does not make me want to go hunting for it lol. I'm currently loving bill levkoff dresses, but I only saw a swatch of their lilac/lavender and it is so hard to tell, especially with chiffon.

The swatches I saw in the store of that brand aren't the purple I was looking for. I found that alot of designers have lilac/lavender colors that are dull not bright like the shade I'm looking for

Not sure if you checked already but try Renate's in Lindenhurst... They had tons of dresses in so many colors and tons of swatches! I got my BM dresses there!
