Bridesmaid Dresses - Any Tips

My sister and I have been looking for bridesmaid dresses for the past couple of months. I have gone with each of the other girls too at some point (minus Brad's youngest sister - she was away at school).

Saturday we are all going. We have an appt at Here Comes the Bridesmaid in Manhassat and Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I have narrowed it down to about 8-10. They all love the color - cranberry, so that was easy. The plan is to decide and order them on Saturday.

Any helpful tips?

Make sure that you guys have water and snacks so no one loses momentum.

Do you want all the girls to wear the same dress or are you okay with varying styles of the same designer?

Do what I did with my frends. Have someone try on all of the dresses you like. Have the girls vote 'yes', no' or 'maybe.' When I tried on the one we wound up with everyone liked it. From that point on every dress was compared to that one. We went with cranberry too.
