One of my girls went to get her dress fitted yesterday and the color is 2 shades lighter then what i ordered. Is this normal? They said that it has to do with the dialect or something. Anyway another one of my girls just went this morning, and after she left she decided to go back to get the dress because the $65 for alterations was too much. They charged her 13% even though they did nothing to the dress. What the HECK is going on? Thanks for letting me vent

13% for what?
They may have ordered the wrong color, maybe? Or maybe the manufacterer changed it slightly?

13% of $65 because they chalk marked the dress already. Even though my BM decided not to get the alterations there.

Did you order them from the same store--if so they should have made sure that all of the dresses came from the same dye lot.

Were all the dresses ordered at the same time & if they weren't the dress place is at fault. I know my place wouldn't put the order in without all dresses ordered. Also 13% did they pull that out of their a$$! DO u mind FMing me the name?

I added a bridesmaid after ordering 4 and her dress came out the exact color. 2 shades of a difference sounds like there was a mistake in the color number.

They were all ordered at the same time, but no one told me if this was possible. I didn't know that could happen.

Where did you order the dresses from...they sound very sketchy!!!! All the dresses should be the same exact color, I would call up the bridal salon and find out what's going on....13% for chalking, these places are outrageous.
