I am interested in a Watters and Watters bridesmaid dress. I want a silvery color, but the sample of the dress I like is in a blue color in every store I've called. It's really hard for me to picture the dress in a color just from a little fabric swatch. Is that how you all picked your colors? Is anyone having a satin back taffeta dress in the mercury color? I would really love it if someone knew that the color looked nice! thanks!
Pretty much that's how we do it. Usually all the salons have the same dress in the color. My girls are in Watters dresses too. What helped me was looking on their web site www.watters.com and seeing the color on another dress.
Just a bit of advice that I got from photographers and vidoegraphers. I also wanted a silvery color dress and I was told by several different professionals that the dress does not look the same in picture or video and all recommended that I go with a different color. Some said that they have seen it look white, others said that they have seen it look a light shade of purple. Of course you should do what makes you happy, I am just passing on the info..
