Bridesmaid dresses.. order from same dye cut?

Ok so i read about making sure you order the dresses from the same place so it comes front he same dye cut… how important is this? Cause my girls are all over NYC/long island and i don't want to make them travel. I'm getting Bill Levkoff dresses, i don't know if that makes a difference.

I think it's best to Order them from one place. Ask the consultant at the store where your purchasing the dresses from. Btw, they're your bridesmaids & I'm sure they already know that they have to go order their dresses. I'm sure they wouldn't mind taking the drive for you

My moh is ordering her dress in Florida because it's easier for her. I really don't think it's that big a deal.

You can choose 1 place to order from and then have your girls call in their measurements. I have one BM who lives out of state and she ordered the dress from the same store as the rest of my LI BMs.

Your girls won't mind the drive for you. My cousin in the southern most spot of Staten Island came all the way to Massapequa for my as did my friend from Mastic, though not as far as SI they were the furthest in the NY area. My cousin in Indiana went to her own Davids Bridal and we were told the dye lot wouldn't be a problem.
The men if out of town and we do have 2 can be measured by any tux/suit rental place and have it them sent to wherever we are renting from and will be fine, so why not us?

This! Most of my girls don't live very close to me or each other. They mostly all called in their measurements to abvoid the problem of differrent dye lots.

I dont think its a huge deal. 5 of 6 of my girls ordered from the same place at the same time and the other ordered on her own. It didn't seem to make a difference but if they can call in their measurements/size its probably not a terrible idea.

It depends on the color of you dress. It won't really matter with dark colors but with lighter colors coming from different dye lots could be different. I worked for a dress manufacture and it definitely does happen.
