So, I am pretty sure I found the dress for the bridesmaids... only problem is most places are selling it for $190 (not including alterations). I know that a few of my BP will not mind the price but I know others will... I'm not sure what to do. I have had a hard time finding one I like and I think that looking for something else is out of the question... anyone else having this problem/concern

Maybe you can help offset the cost of the girls that can't afford it? If you can..
I plan on getting mine at David's b/c of your problem.. I don't want to break the bank for my girls.

Well you can talk to them first., and see what they say. That is the average price of BM dress i think. Maybe they can bring the dress elsewhere to get alterations?

When in doubt call Phyllis at Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills... We went there this weekend to find a dress and the prices were a little cheaper than normal... it's worth a shot to see if she carries the designer and if her prices are better..

Thank you!! I will call now. I asked my bridal party 21 motnhs before the wedding for the sheer fact that I wanted them to have time to save and put money away. I'm not requiring them to get their hair done with me, or make-up... they can pick their own shoes... I'm trying to make it as inexpensive as I can...

did u try looking for a at different designers...maybe someone else has a similar style for less???

yea there are tons of designers that have the same design (maybe just slightly diff.) for a cheaper price. I think $190 maybe considered average but to me $200 is the max for any BP outfit anyone should be paying unless these people have $$.
