What's more important to you- the color or the style? I'm REALLY ready to pull my hair out. Why can't I have BOTH?

What are you buying a dress for?
Pick whatever looks better on you and I can't make a selection based on what you've told us.
Black is great though. There's a reason why its 'little black dress'. It looks good on everyone.

aka are you going to be a nice bride or a 'zilla.
if i was standing up in a wedding... i'd want at least a meet halfway sort of thing.
pick a color if you want but let them pick the cut! give them some options.
i told my MOH to pick a dress in black... shes gonna wear a sash with my color.

I sort of had the same problem I wanted deep purple dresses and I found this really nice Bill Levkoff dress that is flattering for all figures and it only came in a medium deep purple (euro eggplant)... I wasn't thrilled with the color at all but I ended up picking the dress regardless because I would rather have the dress look nice on everyone than have it be the color i want and have my BMs look like sh*t

My maids live all over the place- on in Alabama- one in TN and one in FL-
I only have two up here- and they are both swamped so I mostly try on all of these dresses myself.
Every dress I fall in LOVE with - only comes in black.
my COLOR is DARK teal. Peacock teal. Not the light tiffany aqua color.
Very few designers make the color I love- and I don't LOVE the dresses that come in my color- although I LOVE my color.
I just feel if I choose black dresses my girls will blend right in to everyone else in the party- as most wedding guests wear black? No?
Help because really I'm going to pull my hair out and be a bald bride. {insert pulling hair out emote-icon here}

I also want to add that the thought of going to one more bridal store to look makes me throw up in my mouth!
Besides that- the last three places I visited-(in Jersey) the ladies were SO rude to me that I had to control myself so I didn't get arrested.
One lady wouldn't help me because when I walked in I was on my phone- so she ignored me until LONG after I hung up and proceeded to tell me how rude talking on the phone in public is- and how it's a HUGE pet peeve of hers and that if I expect to be helped I should leave my phone in the car.
That's just the latest story. The evil trolls that work in bridal stores are wearing me down. The decision is HARD enough without mean people. Isn't it?

since they are all over the country can't they get their dress at David's Bridal or Alfred Angelo, that would make it easier from the.

my original color was teal, I know that Alfred Angelo has a few nice dresses in this color, and Paradise Bridal has alot in that color

I had this same exact issue... every dress that came in the color I wanted was horrible so I just went with black and I'm pretty sure my dress will look good on all of my girls.
