I hope you girls can help me with this one - I have 1 MOH and 1 BM. I was planning on having them wear matching dresses with alternating colors (one in dark blue with light blue sash, and then the other in light blue with dark blue sash). Went ahead and bought the BM gown [dark blue] in floor length. Just saw on Style network that matching dresses are out. I don't mind varying the style, as long as the colors are the same, but would it look too weird to have two different length gowns - like one floor and one tea? Or would it just look lopsided? Thanks!

Re: Bridesmaid dressess question
I think lots of people still do matching dresses.
At least I am.
If you want them to have 2 totally different dresses - go for it. Could you have both of them go to the store with you and try them on? Then you could get a good idea of what it will look like.

Re: Bridesmaid dressess question
If matching is out, then I am out of style. When it comes to bridal parties I like it when they are matching. Being that you have only two girls, I would stick to the same length and style. If you want to do the alternating colors I think that is fine.

What do you mean, they're 'out?' It's a wedding, the whole point is that the bridal party matches. Maybe they meant that being somewhat different is 'in.' But otherwise that makes no sense. Don't worry about it, have your bridal party in whatever YOU like. Don't listen to the TV.
