Bridesmaid Gift Help - What would you rather have, poll.

Hi guys,

I need help deciding what to do for my bridesmaids.

I have ten in total so it's been hard finding something affordable.

I already got them all matching jewelry Necklace(3 strands of Charcoal grey pearls, ivory freshwater pearls, and ice blue crystals entangled) and Pearl Earrings.

But they are all coming away with me for my bachelorette party to New Orleans so I really want to get them something extra.

I was thinking for either paying for half of their makeup on the day of

buying everyone a MAC Eyeshadow (neutral color) and clear or neutral MAC lipgloss (my friend gets a deal at MAC.


My only reservation is, that if I offer to pay for half of their makeup I don't want anyone to feel obligated to have their makeup professionally done (and pay the other halg), I know it's MY day, but I just feel like they've been spending so much on my wedding as it is and I know they will look beautiful regardless.

I think the neutral eye shadow and clear/neutral MAC lipgloss is a great idea.

I happen to be in the boat that offering to pay half their makeup seems to set the expectation that you want all the bridesmaids/bridal party to have their makeup professionally done. I've been uncomfortable when placed in this situation before as a bridesmaid who has already shelled out so much, I couldn't afford it.

be careful with MAC its not hypoallergenic and people with makeup sensitivity and break out from it. I know first hand lol

I happen to agree with Faye. By offering to pay for half the makeup your girls will probably feel obligated to have it professionally done. I know myself, I dont wear a lot of makeup and as a BM in my friends wedding, I would have been upset if she required us to have our makeup done. I didnt wear much makeup at all for her wedding. I feel like I just look better that way. By getting the girls a neutral color eyeshadow and a clear gloss even those who dont wear a lot of makeup will still probably use that
