Bridesmaid Gifts

Bridesmaid Gifts

Hey Girls! I need some opinions.

I'm going to be asking my girls (MOH and BM) at my engagement party. My engagement party colors are pink and light green. I'm thinking of giving them these things at the engagement party:

Pink and white tote bag
Bath Salts
Body Lotion
Body Wash
Bubble Bath
Robe
Loofa
'Will you be my...' Card
Personalized Note
Some little poem about stressful wedding planning and spa relaxation.

My rehearsal dinner colors are light pink, black and white. I'm thinking of giving them:

Black and white tote bag
Personalized MOH/BM Tank Top
Personalized Slippers
Pearl Earrings (For Day Of)
Pashmina
Personalized Thank You Note

Anything you would add/take away/any suggestions?

Sounds fantastic!

I think I would give them the tank tops with the first bag. They can use them for your bachelorette party or other things as well and get more use out of them then one day.

Re: Bridesmaid Gifts

You dont NEED to do this. Most people give their bridal party gifts at the rehearsal dinner, but I decided I want to give at two different times. It also depends what youre giving...I wanted to give two different 'themed' gifts. One is spa and the other is things to wear on the day of...they just dont go together. Dont feel like you have to though.

I did the same thing, personalized PJ's & flip-flops & a bath basket b/c my B-Party we are doing a weekend away in fire island & I thaufgt it would be cute for pics. But i'm with the idea of giving the tanks early so they can get more use out of them.

I think its really sweet you're giving them something small at the engagement party to ask them, and then something later at the RD.

This might sound weird but are you sure they'll all say yes?? Because it might be uncomfortable if you get them a gift and for whatever reason they cant be in your BP! (Unless you mentioned to them already you were going to ask them!)

Some of them already know that they will be im my bp and some will definitely say yes. There are really no monitary issues that would make any of them say no. We joke around about the bp even though i havent 'officially' asked any of them.

For my E-Party I gave out little buttons that said what role they were in the BP. ... they were all shocked jsut from that!! lol. But, since it's a year away...well not anymore...I'm going to be treating them to little things here and there. Like, all the kids that are in my BP, FH and I will bring to the circus one day...and for the adults, we'll take them out 'on us' without the kids...we'll arrange for babysitters. Then, for the RH dinner I am giving all the girls tote bags that I am embrodering their names...it will contain:
Swovorski necklaces
mini bath and body work lotion..whatever their fave
travel tissues
ballerina slippers
maybe for the adults little evening bags (for DOW)
And TONS of hugs and kisses and thank yous from ME! lol
None of them want me spending ANY money on them, so it's tough! But, I still spoiled them all! lol
Oh, and the BP tees I am planning on giving once my FH has them MADE...lol... he works in a print shop and I've been waiting since the E-Party...OY MEN!! HAHAHA

Agreed! I gave them tank tops when I asked them... then they can wear it to bachelorette, shower, bridesmaid lunch or whatever they want.
