I'm not sure if there's a normal amount. I'm taking into account how much time and money mine are contributing. I have 6 and they are really going above and beyond so I have a whole slew of things I'm purchasing them. But, I can also afford it. I have a friend who only had one bridesmaid (her MOH) and not as much income so she purchased one really nice gift for her. It is all the thought that counts, what you can afford, and what the bridesmaids have done for you. (i.e. You wouldn't want to get them just a little something if they are paying for your shower, gifts, big bachelorette party, expensive dresses, etc.) That's just my two cents.

I agree with this! What we did was figure out how much we could spend on bridal party in total based on budget. I'm having 7 girls plus two flower girls. My overall bridal party gift budget is $1,000 and I am finding that to be a good amount. I may go over a tiny bit but have been finding great deals and think my girls will have some really nice gifts to open:)

I have 7 girls and I spent about $150 each. But I'm taking my MOH and another BM for massages in addition bc they have gone above and beyond and picked up the slack for everyone else

I have 6 girls and 6 boys. Our total budget was 1k for everyone. My girls got a little more. They didn't help me out with much, but they traveled a lot and paid for the bachelorette party!

I only have 3 girls and spent between $100-$140 on each. I definitely don't have the money to be spending much more than that. Plus, everything I bought I know they will like and use again.

I'm thinking about spending $100 on each girl. You could also always pay for their hair/makeup or dress.

Whoa, I only spent $50 on each person. $75 on BM and MOH.

I plan to spend around $150 each on my 3 bridesmaids and $200 each on my 2 MOH. I can afford to and they're all spending at least $200 on the dress alone so it's only right in my opinion.

THIS! if we have a extra we may pay for their hair.

In the weddings I've been in, I've received:
- Vera Bradley bag
- flip flops, DOJ (not fancy) & make up
- DOJ

We are giving:
DOJ
flip flops
etched champagne glasses
small bag

Bridesmaid gifts? - Long Island Weddings

I am really tight on cash and am trying to keep it to under $40 pp for both the men and women. Some things I've recieved as a bridesmaid:
1 wedding - A full size scentsy warmer and 2 scent paks

2nd wedding - a coach wristlet, a decorated wine glass (decorated by bride) and I think something else.....

I've asked other brides who have only given a necklace or necklace and earrings to be worn that day, etc.

I think it's as big or as little as you want/can.
