Are most people paying for their bridesmaids' hair and/or make up as part of their gift....or are most people giving their bridesmaids the option to use their own hair/make up people if the cost of the brides' choice is too $$?

I have them doing their own hair and make up. It would be way to expensive to pay for both.

I decided to get them gifts instead and gave them the choice if they want to do hair and makeup. They don't have to cause I know it's an extra expense.

I am not paying for my BP's hair and make-up. I have booked someone for both and will tell them how much they cost. I bought them a tote bag filled with gifts as well as the DOJ. I don't care too much about the make-up being done professionally but I want everyone's hair done professionally.

I know, it's so expensive!! I don't know how some people do it.
I was thinking of just telling them how much the make up and the hair would cost, and if then they can decide if they would like to use them too, or they can get it done somewhere else...no pressure.

i am paying but only because i have only 3 girls in my party and 2 are oot, so they don't know of anything on LI

I am giving htem a 'credit' of $40 toward their make-up (which is $75) as a gift. For their hair each are going to their own Hair dresser, I don't care what style as long as they don't dye it a new color!

I'm planning on paying for my girls hair an dm/u b/c they have done so much, and I only have 2 girls.
