Bridesmaid issue

Bridesmaid issue

Ok so I have 5 of my 6 bridesmaids picked out. However the last spot is a toss up between my cousin and my friend, Emily. Normally I would just pick my friend Emily b/c she is older. However my cousin will be 15 at the time of my wedding and she is the sister of my cousin (whom I was very close in age to & close with) who committed suicide almost 8 years ago. The only thing that I am worried about is she may not be in anybody else's wedding, since she is now an only child. And I know if her brother was still alive he would be in my FI's grooms party. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Im a big believer in you pick exactly who you want in your bridal party because you truly want them there, not because you need to have a certain number of people...i dont think it matters if the sides are even or not... it looks cute when two guys walk one girl and vice versa...

IMO, if I wanted both girls, I would put both in... if I wanted neither I would leave my number at 5....

I think an uneven # is ok too... I am partial to that decision because I am having an uneven # of BM and GM...I say have them both and double up or have the one you truly want ...or neither...
