bridesmaid necessities

originally, i wanted to take my girls to dinner and ask them all to be in my bridal party. my mom said it would put them on the spot as a group, so I started asking them in person individually. I have my MoH, and 1 BM so far that I've asked! We all wept, and emotionally, I don't think I can handle asking 5 more girls!

but after i ask them all, I will have the girls over one night so i can give them a gift of anything they may need along the way.

i got them a sassy little bridesmaid handbook
i'm laminating a floral stationery with all BM, FH, MoB, FMIL, email & #, so they can keep everyone in the loop.
either a champagne glass or shot glass (so we can have our first drink as wedding party that night)

what else might a bridesmaid need along the way?!?!
(minus 'survival kit'-i'll make that for RD)

I didn't even think to do that! lol
My 4 sisters are my bridesmaids and NO ONE LIVES IN NY!! It's a bit frustrating but we did it for my other sister so hopefully we'll be okay.
My MOH lives 5 min from me but she's getting married 3 months after me, so we kinda just talk about both weddings together.

Let me know if you come up with any other cool ideas though so I can steal them

Thats great!!!! You do what you feel is best really ..im having 2 MOH and im going to give them more b/c they are really like sisters to me ..and the other BM im going to give them a bag and a necklace ...and i want to do something else but i dunno what ...but i will figure it out...good luck and just do what you think....( just dont go overboard)

I know I want to give my BM and MOH these lockets I found on Zales. They were sister ones (all 4 BM's are my sisters) and MOH is just as close. I need to think of more though

ETA: I was thinking of also paying for a suite the night before the wedding for everyone and paying for dinner or something. Really I just want them all in one spot because, when left on their own, they tend to stray and run super late lol

I asked my brother's fiancé tonight, so that makes 3 so far
I love seeing everyone's reaction!

For their gifts at RD I will probably give them each a nice necklace, like tiffany, that compliment BM gown and can be worn again. I want to give them a matching clutch bag too. For the 'survival kit', I'll include a tote with gum, water, advil, booby tape, sewing kit, tide stick, cling-free, BM socks, matching flip-flops, bobby pins, tissues, hair spray, nail file, etc-they can keep bag in bridal suite.
FH also wants us to pay for some, if not all, of their dress expenses. But we will see how much everything is!
