bridesmaid newsletters????????/

does anyone know what they are? are any of you using them? and if so what do they look like or say?

a girl at work today looked at me like i had 3 heads when i said i didnt have one and said 'u totally need one, everyone is doing it'

so my question is ......is everyone doing it bc if everyone was you girl would def know about it

Aren't the BMs supposed to do them and send them out?? I think they're suppose to say all the news (checks, updates, etc) about the wedding. I think I heard about it in Bridezilla

just alot of babbling non-sense lol the poor girl kept changing her mind about her dress, and G2G's I guess stuff like that?? lol but they are like novels!

but i think I would feel the same way.....they really dont care THAT much about what you are doing

Not to be rude, but this sounds a little psychotic. I mean I understand that the bride has to have some kind of contact when important things have to be decided- an email here and there, some texts- but I think if someone sent me more than one newsletter, I would laugh.

I totally agree... im not doing that to them.. they would kill me.. i talk about it ENUFF... published weeklys would equal no bridal party for Cindy in 2011..

I totally agree... im not doing that to them.. they would kill me.. i talk about it ENUFF... published weeklys would equal no bridal party for Cindy in 2011..

I have never heard of this! I agree with some of the other girls...i just email them once in a while when i have an update or a quesion for the girls..

I did the first one to introduce everyone to everyone and to thank them all for agreeing to be in my wedding. I included everyones number and email address The 2nd one i did once I picked the colors, their dresses, my dress and had booked all of my vendors. I gave everyone deadlines to order their dresses. My girls appreciated it because it kept them updated. They all had questions about their shoes, hair and when i wanted them here ( some live out of state). It would be hard to get eachother on the phone sometimes so I thought this was the easiest way to communicate to everyone.

I plan on doing the last one with about 1 month to the wedding. Just to finalize everything. I think its also just another wedding keepsake. Just another added little thing to remember about the planning process. Some people do wedding websites others do newsletters.

Uuuuuggghhhhhh, sounds like just another task!!! I was going to communicate to everyone by email. But I would love to see what it looks like since most of my BM don't really know each other.

If you want to keep people informed why not just have a blog instead of a newsletter? Much more practical I think. Once I have my website finished I will have a section where people can stay updated on what's going on.

I thought about a blog thing but I'm not very good with that sort of thing. I am the type of person that likes things on hard paper. I also printed myself a copy and put it in my handy dandy wedding organizer. Like I said I was thinking along the lines like its a keepsake also. the girls thought it was a cute idea.

i've seen them in movies before but i def wasnt thinking of doing them...i think its a waste of paper! if people want to know whats going on in my wedding thats what phones+the internet are for! i do have a wedding website which i do update to keep guests informed...i doubt anyone even looks at it though lol
